I cut a few sprigs of asparagus every day and just stick them in a cup of cold water and keep them in the fridge until there is enough to cook. We will plant some more when the stores start clearing out their vegetable seeds and starts. The plants we have took about three years to produce but we still have plenty of space in that area for more to grow.
