Spending the day in Charleston

This is a picture heavy post (if you double click on the pictures, they will expand). Before leaving Okinawa, K2 told me to take lots of pictures.

On our 2ND day in South Carolina, we headed to Charleston. We took both a tour of the city by bus, and a harbor tour.

A few items seen while on the Harbor tour.

The building on the right is Fort Sumter.
.

The boat on the right is what we took the tour in.
.

This a bridge that was completed in 2005 and costs half a billion dollars to build. The tour guide said it will only last for 100 years.
.

Some cannons on display. The tour guide said they were never fired.
.

A house we saw on the tour. (I can't remember who it belonged to).
.

Iron work is big here.
.

A few random pictures taken during the bus tour.

A replica of the H. L. Hunley.
