Anaheim, Finally.......

This is going to be picture heavy, and I'm not sure about the formatting, but I guess it's about time I post our pictures from Anaheim as it's been about 3 weeks since we've been back, so here they are:

First up, the view from the hotel room:

The first night we were there, we went to dinner at Bubba Gump's:

On day 2, we decided to rent a car.  We headed out with no particular place in mind and ended up in Newport Beach:

Surfers:

We left Newport Beach and ended up here:

Friday, we headed to Disneyland:

The castle here is just not the same as DisneyWorld:

Saturday we headed out to Hollywood.  First up was Grauman's Chinese Theater:

Then we started to walk down Hollywood Blvd:

Shrek's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame:

We then headed to Sunset Blvd and J took a picture of the "Whisky a Go Go":

Our next adventure was to find the Hollywood sign.  We were using the gps on our phones and it kept taking us around in a circle.  Finally, we followed a sign to an Observatory and ended up asking one of the Park Rangers up there.  He told us to pretty much turn around and we would be able to see it. You can also walk to the sign from where we were, but the guy said it would take about 2 hours, so we were not up for a 4 hour round trip walking trek:

Our final stop of the day was Chinatown.  We ended up in a Dim Sum restaurant where they wheel their little carts and choose what you want.  It was okay, but it was definitely more about the experience (I didn't get any pictures of the ladies):

And since J was feeling adventuorous, he went for the chicken feet.  I did try them and while I think they weren't bad, the sauce they were in wasn't my cup of tea, so J ended up eating them all:

In other news, I've started doing some closet cleaning getting ready for J when he brings his stuff home in October.  While the bachelor pad has minimal furniture and the plan is for the majority of it to go in the bedroom upstairs, there currently isn't any room in the house for his clothes (I've taken over the closet in the bedroom).  That's my project for the next 100 days.
