Dinner in Memphis

After getting the camper situated, we headed out for dinner and ended up at Gus' Fried Chicken.   It's been on a few Food Network shows.   


   
I had the white meat plate and a jalapeño.  It was thirty five cents so we decided to try it.  It was just pickled so I didn't eat it and J didn't want it.   



J ordered the half chicken.







We both thought it was worth the hype.   It took 30 minutes to get a table and the crowds did not die down at all.    It was probably the best fried chicken we've ever had.
