Late Post - Veteran's Day

Over Veteran's Day weekend, we took a trip and ended up at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park.

It was a nice campground.

The town is very small with one stop light.  After getting set up, we were off to find gas and see if there were any interesting shops.  There weren't.  For dinner, we just grilled at the camper.

Saturday, were were up bright and early and headed to Vicksburg, Mississippi which was about 30 minutes away.

Our first stop was the welcome center which is right on the edge of the Mississippi River.

We then went to several museums, but I'll make a new post since I'm having trouble getting this one to "take".
