We left after work Friday and got here late last night.
We were out early this morning and had breakfast at The Maple Leaf Diner. It was packed but we waited the 30 minutes for a table.
I had bacon chicken and waffles and J had a diner special. It was good and we’d go there again.
After breakfast we went to the Perot Museum. It wasn’t what we expected. It is basically a museum for kids.

After the museum, we did some shopping at places that don’t exist in Louisiana like Sue La Table, Williams & Sonoma and Trader Joe’s.
It was getting late by this time so we got dinner at Gas Monkeys Bar & Grill. J likes Fast n Loud and we went to their shop in another trip to Dallas.
He got a burger and I got a baked potato and they were both good.
We headed back to the hotel after dinner. We’re old now and can’t stay out past 7 these days.
