Oklahoma City Day 2

We started the day having breakfast at Jimmy’s Round-Up Cafe.   It was okay and we both had pretty basic plates.

After breakfast we went to the Oklahoma City Memorial and Museum.  I only took pictures of the grounds and none inside.   It included a lot of the debris and personal effects so I chose not to photograph any of that.   But it was as an experience.

After the memorial we went to the National Banjo Museum.

Next up was the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.  We had about a two hour guided tour.  The tour guide was a retired Air Force General who had been stationed at Barksdale so he and J chatted for a bit..

After that museum it was getting late so we decided to go to a Ramen joint to see how authentic it was.   The rice and edamame were good, J liked the gyoza and ramen (which was spicy ramen) but I didn’t care to much for it.  The “real” stuff is much better.

I’m not sure why these pictures are sideways but I’m not using the computer at the moment so can’t fix them.

Tomorrow we are taking a food tour and most likely visiting the state capital.
