Atlanta Texas

Since this is a 3 day weekend, we decided to hit the road.    We ended up about an hour and fifteen minutes away from home at the Atlanta Texas State Park.

It’s pretty cold (low 40s) so while we did walk around the campground the first night we arrived we haven’t done it again.

There aren’t any museums or attractions in the area and this is the first campground we’ve stayed at where we weren’t able to get any channels on the tv.  I know, I know, watching tv isn’t really camping.

I’m sure this campground is really nice when the weather is warm.

We did take a 45 minute drive to Texarkana, Texas and we picked up a cheap DVD player and some movies.

We’ve been very boring on this trip.

Here are a few pictures I took on our walk.

It doesn’t look like it, but all of the spots are full except for the one right next to us which is nice.

Hopefully tomorrow warms up and we can do some more walinking around.
