Labor Day in Austin

We will get back to the second half of Alaska soon.   We took a quick trip over the Labor Day weekend to Austin.

The campground was pretty full but we still ended up in a good site.   All the sites in the next few pictures were taken a few hours after we arrived.

After getting set up, we headed to downtown Austin for dinner.  We ended up at Stubb’s BBQ.   It was just alright.

Cream cheese stuffed jalapeños. These were the best thing we had.

Smoked turkey.

Ribs and brisket plate.

After dinner, we walked around town for a bit.

So that I don’t get too picture heavy in one post, I’ll make another one for Day 2.    Coming right up!
