What we’ve been up to

Since our camping trips are non-existent right now and will be for the foreseeable future, we decided to plant our garden.

This year we are only doing tomatoes and peppers.  Squash and cucumbers seem to bring out the bugs.

I cleaned out the containers yesterday.  You can see one side is clean and the other waiting to be done in this picture.

The stuff closest to the camera is sage so that will be staying.

We ended up with this after getting most everything planted.

I have a few other containers close to the shed but they need additional dirt so J will stop at Home Depot on the way home from work tomorrow.  They will be used for green peppers, shishito peppers and ghost peppers.  I ordered the latter two varieties from Etsy and the should be here this week.

I had a lot of visitors while cleaning out the pots.

And these two guys.

Gardening will be my life this summer since we can’t go anywhere.  I’m 100% teleworking now and I’m getting tired of being in the house all day.  The only stores I’ve been to are grocery stores and those are get in and get out trips.

That’s life at our house for now.
