It’s been a while

Since the Pandemic hit in March, we’ve done no camping and have no plans to do so this year.  I did book us a room in Las Vegas so if all goes according to plan, we will be there in November. 

The tomatoes are done in the garden now.  It’s just too hot.  But before the plants bit the dust, I was able to freeze a bunch to can at a later date. 

Peppers are still doing well and the pears are ready to pick. 

I made pear pepper jam this morning.   

And a few weeks ago, I made more Cowboy Candy using up a ton of jalapeños. 

So, things are rather boring at the moment, but sometimes boring is good.
